Tech Safety Lines’ Derrick Worker Rescue class is specifically designed for employees who work on drilling and work-over rigs. Students learn to deploy rescue tools and procedures specifically developed for this industry.
Course objectives include:
- Rescue of a worker suspended from a fixed ladder
- Rescue of a worker suspended beneath the tubing board
- Rescue of accessible and remote victims
- This program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling. Each employee will be trained to follow procedures created to minimize hazards from falls treatment
