Basket Rigging, Inspection, and Operation

This course provides comprehensive training on the safe assembly, inspection, and operation of 2-meter baskets commonly used in suspended platform work. Participants will gain hands-on experience working with an actual basket that can be suspended and lowered, practicing controlled descents, proper rigging, and adherence to industry safety standards.

Through a combination of classroom instruction and practical exercises, the course covers essential topics, including relevant OSHA 1910 and ANSI regulations, company-specific operational protocols (on request), and required documentation for compliance.

Materials to Bring:

• General PPE and Personal Fall Protection Equipment
• Steel or Composite Toed Boots

Recertification Requirements:
To maintain certification, participants must complete recertification every two years.
