Vertical Lifeline Kit - Assisted and Self-Rescue

This 2-day course provides comprehensive instruction on the proper setup and operation of the Vertical Lift Kit (VLK) in conjunction with the SRK-15®, StepWise® Fall Arrest Lanyard, and 4:1 mechanical advantage systems. Students will gain a deep understanding of anchoring methods, system components, and rescue interfaces through a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on workshops.

Day 1 focuses on the VLK system, including proper assembly, backup rigging, and performing multiple assisted rescue scenarios. Day 2 highlights the SRK-15®—Tech Safety Lines' third-party certified micro rescue kit that has set the global standard for self and assisted rescue. Students will gain confidence operating the SRK-15®, learn best practices for high-anchor descents, and perform self-rescue using both the StepWise® Fall Arrest Lanyard and the 4:1 mechanical advantage system. Instruction also includes inspection, repackaging, and integration with other systems.
